ALUMNAE ASSOCIATION CAREER NETWORKING

The Alumnae Association of Mount Holyoke College can help you connect with alumnae in your field—across the country and internationally. We also offer links to resources, Web pages, and career information to help you at any stage of your career.

Alumnae Networks
• LinkedIn Join our alumnae-only LinkedIn group for career discussions, networking, news, job postings, and more.

• LifeNet Find alumnae in your area or career field on LifeNet, our searchable directory of alumnae.

Coming soon: Alumnae professional career advisors. The Alumnae Association is building a contact list of alumnae human resources and career professionals who offer one-on-one career counseling to alums (in-person or by phone/email). The list will be announced in our e-newsletter, on our Facebook and LinkedIn pages, and via Twitter in the spring of 2010. If you are interested in being on the list, please contact Jane E. Women’s Networks
• Women for Hire A comprehensive array of recruitment services for women, including a professional online network and an online job board.

• Women@Work A network service of current and returning professional women who are seeking work-life balance and flexibility. The service connects and serves women interested in both part-time and full-time work and the employers who need their skills and expertise.

• Self-assessment materials A series of exercises and forms to help facilitate your professional self-awareness.

• Selected databases and Web sites A selected group of Web sites for career and life planning work.

• Myers-Briggs Online Test A personality and temperament test that measures personal traits, preferences, and strengths. Especially helpful for those making a career change.

• Tips for Job Seekers from the MHC Career Development Center Advice on how to write a resume that sells, build a successful job search, make the most of networking, and more.
