Reunions
Teen Scene Program
The Teen Scene program (formerly the Alumnae Daughter program) is geared toward students who will be entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year of high school in the fall following Reunion I and II in May. The program runs from 1:00 - 9:00 p.m. on the Saturday of each reunion, and offers students an ideal opportunity to learn more about Mount Holyoke and the other colleges of the Five-College Consortium. The preliminary schedule includes a tour of the College, an admission information session, a bus tour through the Five-College schools, supervised free time and dinner in Northampton, and a trip to a local dairy farm (complete with baby cows) for homemade ice-cream. Two current Mount Holyoke students and an Alumnae Association staff member run the program, providing participants with a variety of perspectives on college life.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: “Is the Teen Scene Program only for daughters of alumnae?”
A: No. The program is open to female or male relatives or friends of alumnae interested in learning more about Mount Holyoke College and/or the college application process. Participants may also bring friends with them who are interested in one of the five colleges.
Q: “Must I be in my reunion year for my young relative or friend to participate?”
A: No. If your next reunion will not take place until after your relative’s or friend’s college search will be over, you may still enroll her or him in the program. Please contact program director Krysia L. Villón ’96 via e-mail or at 413-538-2738 for more information.
Q: “My relative/friend is younger than the recommended age but is still interested. Can s/he participate”
A: Sorry, no. We recommend that potential participants wait until they are closer to college age to attend this program. The information presented is quite detailed and relevant only to those students ready to begin the college application process.
Q: “What will my relative/friend do during the rest of reunion weekend?”
A: Teen Scene participants are welcome to attend one of the Back-to-Class sessions on Friday and/or the Alumnae Parade on Saturday morning. For more information about fun weekend activities, check your reunion preliminary schedule.
