Classes & Reunions

Classes & Reunions Committee Contacts

The role of the Classes & Reunions Committee is to encourage, support, and coordinate class organizations.  The committee is composed of members who have firsthand leadership experience with their respective class as a class or reunion officer.  Members understand the opportunities and challenges facing class officers and service as a resource to the class leadership team.  The members are committed to their work, interested in the class and reunion volunteers’ concerns and issues and are happy to answer any questions related to class procedures.

Although the members will contact the class boards on a yearly basis, please feel free to contact your Classes & Reunion Committee liaison whenever you have a question or concern.  Both the Alumnae Association staff and committee members are available to assist you in any way we can.

SPLURGE YR LIFE BY DOING SOMETHING YOU LOVE. My husband Paul is a musician. He says that the concept of talent is overrated because ‘talent’ is really the gift of love. ‘Talent’ happens when yr in love with something and you devote yr life to it and its yr love of it that makes you want to keep doing it, its yr love of it which helps you overcome the obstacles along the way, and its yr love of it that begets a talent for it.

Suzan-Lori Parks ’85, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, commencement address, 2001
