May 28-30, 2010  Our 45th Reunion drew 103 classmates to South Hadley, and we reached our fund-raising goal, breaking the record for 45th Reunion giving!

5/3/10  Our Reunion Schedule is now posted on this website. Reunion Chair Gail Kerr hopes that we'll break a record for attendance at a 45th reunion; we're well on the way with 98 classmates (and 24 guests) registered as of May 3!

April 2010   Deadlines extended to April 15 for Bio and Class survey.

Nov 2009  The Alumnae Association mailed us ('65 classmates) an envelope marked "Reunion Information Enclosed" containing:

  1. Letter from Class President Helen Tubesing Forster (and Mary Howe Grant)
  2. Letter from Reunion Chair Gail Buerger Kerr about reunion plans to date
  3. Silent Auction/Raffle (send ideas, donations to jogriff[at]aol.com)
  4. Class book info (send your 1-page Bio to mhc65reunion@gmail.com).
  5. Short Class Survey - due February 15. Do it online here.

9/9/09 Reunion planning continues; Committee list updated; another story added to "The Way We Were." Another conference call among Committee Chairs is being scheduled.

5/29-30/09 Hospitality Committee members visited campus during Reunion II to "scout" and gather ideas for our reunion next year. Reunion Committee chairs will talk via conference call on June 12.

3/31/2009  Our MHC Class Newsletter was mailed to all classmates (we hope!) at the end of March.  If you didn't receive it, perhaps the Alumnae Association lacks your current address. The mailing contained these items:

  1. A letter from Helen Tubesing Forster, President, Class of 1965
  2. A list of classmates who have paid dues, with reminder for others. Only $25 for a 5-year period.
  3. A letter (and funny story) from Betsy Thomas Amin-Arsala, our Communications chair.
  4. REUNION Information: a list of Committee Chairs for 45th (tentative date May 28-30, 2010).

2/12/2009  Mary Lyon's Green Velvet Purse.  Our classmate, Mary Graham Davis, president of the Alumnae Association, sent an unusual appeal out via the Laurel Chain e-newsletter February 12, 2009.  The college needs our help. Read her letter here.

1/10/2009  Gail Kerr sent this news: In Women’s Business Boston this week, Janet Falik Aserkoff was named one of the top 10 corporate lawyers in the region.  Congratulations, Janet!
