Alumnae Fund Update

At this point in the year, ’86 has a lot of momentum with the Alumnae Fund. So far, the gifts are an inspiring mix of regular givers, classmates who’ve re-emerged after a few years, and new Cornerstone gifts. Our total giving is a few thousand dollars ahead of this time last year. It’s a great start, but we still have a long way to go, and we’d like to offer a thought to those who haven’t contributed yet. The year 2008 marks birthday number 44 (!!) for most of us. It also marks 22 years since graduation. That means that most of us will be celebrating half a lifetime as MHC graduates. When you have a few minutes to contemplate, we invite you to consider that half a lifetime and what your connection to MHC has meant. We hope it will lead you to join classmates who’ve already given or pledged this year. We’re a mere three years from our 25th, and we’d love to see participation grow as we get closer.
