Graduating students pay their respects to Mary Lyon with the tradition of the Laurel Chain. The chain makes its way through the parade carried by the seniors dressed in white, and is then draped around the grave site while the students sing "Bread & Roses."

President's Reception in honor of the 50th Reunion Class. The reception was offered courtesy of President Joanne V. Creighton for members of the Class of 1956 and their guests. Following the reception, dinner was served in Willits-Hallowell Center courtesy of the Alumnae Association and the Development Office.

In honor of Earth Day, local alumnae clubs and classes joined MHC students for an environmental service project at River Valley Academy, a school for children with special needs in Holyoke. The school recently moved to a new site and needed help cleaning the site, repainting the basketball court, pulling weeds, and planting trees and shrubs.
