LifeNet: Overview
LifeNet is a greatly expanded networking program that allows alumnae and students to locate one another, get in touch, and stay connected—through all the transitions of life. With LifeNet, members of the Mount Holyoke College community can offer and seek career advice; stay in one another’s homes while traveling; arrange social visits and cultural events; and share information about places to live, club activities in an area, and much more. How to participate? Simply click on your LifeNet profile and add as much or as little detail as you choose. (You'll find the LifeNet link at the bottom of this page.) In less than three minutes, you will be connected to a dynamic worldwide community of exceptional Mount Holyoke alumnae and students.
Important note:
Before you begin networking, please make sure to visit the Web pages of two other great programs in our MHConnect family:
Find free short-term housing with alumnae (available to students and alumnae
traveling on academic or employment-related business).
How to find, or become, a mentor
Because alumnae privacy is of utmost importance to us, please be aware that users of LifeNet can lose their privileges if they:
- directly solicit alumnae for jobs
- request housing from an alumna who is not participating in the Alumnae Stay program
- disregard or fail to meet the stated requirements of the Alumnae Stay program when requesting housing from a participating alumna
Thank you for your cooperation--and enjoy your networking!
